About

Gitmo Nation Roundtable is a weekly audio show focused on the top news stories from the last seven days. The panelists aim to bring discussion and analysis, often missing from the most widely known media outlets. The show desires to assemble a varied group of contributors from across the North America and across the world. We value and welcome new ideas, opinions, outlooks, and world-views. If you disagree with the views expressed on the Roundtable you are invited to comment on and question everything we say. Better yet, you’re encouraged to get involved and join the show! Whether you can make it on once to dispute a few selected topics, or if you’d like to get your opinion heard on a regular basis, we’d love to have you.

The Gitmo Nation Roundtable originated in July of 2009. The podcast was dreamed up by a group of disenchanted No Agenda listeners. When this group of acquaintences began to see the show slipping away from what it once stood for, they decided to try to fill that void.

The show was initially hosted by Eugene Michasiw who brought the group’s ideas into being. Soon after the show began Eugene’s inputs were unfortunately lost to other, more pressing, commitments. Brian Masi, the show’s current host, took hold of the Roundtable’s reins and helped further develop the show. It started off casually, moved through a rocky phase, and has since undergone several iterative phases.

In its current form, the show’s regular contributors believe it is more concise, well-organized, and coherent. But, the show is still evolving. The host and all of the panelists truly value your input. If you have ideas of how to improve the show’s quality and listenability please share! Further, if you think your own contributions can improve the show, make it happen!

We welcome, your comments, thoughts, constructive criticisms, inputs, and direct contributions! Do not hesitate to contact us!
